The Christmas Holidays are upon us, and we are first of all, wishing each and everyone of you a very Happy and Blessed Christmas. This is one of our most favorite time of the year, as we celebrate and remember the birth of our Lord and Savior: Jesus the Christ.
Amidst all of the hustle and bustle of the season, the central focus for those of us who belive on, and in Him, Jesus the reason for the Christmas season period. The Bible teaches us that many, many yeares ago, God became a man in order to pay our sin death for us. He did this by dying on a cross at Calvary for the sins of the whole world, making it possible that whosoever believed in Him, should not perish, but have eternal life by putting their faith and trust in Jesus. Salvation is then found in Jesus Christ alone, for he is the only propiciation for our sins. This is what we celebrate at Christmas time. Therefore, as we celebrate the season, let us remember the true reason for the season, and what it is we are celebrating; this is the Bible way, and, the only way to God almighty is through obedience to His Word (Holy Bible).
HAVE A VERY MERRY AND BLESSED CRISTMAS
At the same time, we are looking forward to a new year; always hoping that the new year will be better than the outgoing year. We look to the new year as a time of new beginings, and a new leg on this journey called life.
Scripture for this month: "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name Jesus: for He shall save his people from their sins." "Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God with us". Mattew 1:21 & 23.
We thank God for having brought us though the worldwide pandemic, and now we are striving to live as normal a life as possible. Not that Co-Vid has been completely anihilated, but we have learned to live with our new normal: precautions are still being taken, and we must still adhere to all health guidelines.
God is still in control, and He only allows that which is in keeping with his will and purpose for us. Therefore, for those who are of His household, we keep our eyes focused on Jesus, for he is both the Author and Finisher of our faith.
